1.      By authority of General Order No. 23, Headquarters USAFFE,  APO  501, dated 5 February 1945, the following named officers, nurses, and enlisted men now on duty with this organization are entitled to wear the Philippine Liberation Campaign Ribbon with one bronze star on the ribbon for:

 

a.       Thirty days service in the Philippine Islands or adjacent waters during the period 24 December 1944 to 22 May 1945.

 

b.      Service aboard the Hospital Ship Maetsuycker during enemy air attacks at San Pedro Bay; Leyte, Philippine Islands on 24, 25, 26, and 27 December, 1944.
